Rachel Hazell

Rachel Hazell, also known as the Travelling Bookbinder, believes everyone has a book inside them, and is keen to get them out. She has been taking people on creative journeys for twenty years. Workshop locations around the world include a lighthouse on Shetland, a Venetian palazzo and an eco-hostel on Iona. Her PaperLove and BookLove e-courses give a broad introduction to bookart, creative writing, origami, calligraphy and bookbinding. She makes literary sculptures in response to landscape, using the book form as her medium. Rachel looks forward to exhibiting Paper Journeys at StAnza 2018.
