Lindsay Turk

Since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art, Lindsay Turk has exhibited throughout the UK. Her work frequently focuses on natural scenes and cycles, stilling into focus the things so often missed – the play of light softening an otherwise solid object, the anticipated perfect moment of a bloom, the space between a bird’s flight and fall. Lindsay has a way of capturing moments and simultaneously allowing them to ebb – the beauty of moments captured, the melancholy of inevitable loss and the essence of human existence. Lindsay has a number of collectors including musician Foy Vance, and actor Courtney Cox, as well as numerous works in other private collections in the UK and abroad.
