Kathrine Sowerby

Kathrine Sowerby lives in Glasgow and her background is in visual art; she studied tapestry and has an MFA from Glasgow School of Art. More recently she received a New Writers Award from the Scottish Book Trust and has taken part in poetry translation projects in Pakistan and Latvia. She collaborates with artist/writer Tessa Berring and their poems have been published in Zarf, DATABLEED and 3:AM Magazine. Her published works include Unnecessarily Emphatic and Tired Blue Mountain (Red Ceilings Press), Margaret and Sunflower (Dancing Girl Press), that bird loved (Hesterglock Press), three novellas The Spit, the Sound and the Nest (Vagabond Voices), and House However (Vagabond Voices), a sequence of sixty-two prose poems.
