Vicki Feaver

Vicki Feaver’s collection of poems The Handless Maiden (Cape 1994, reprinted 2009) won her a Heineman Prize and a Cholmondely Award. The Book of Blood (Cape, 2006) was shortlisted for the Costa and Forward prizes. Her poem 'Judith' won the Forward Prize for the Best Single Poem. Her recent poems, on the theme of old-age, appear in Second Wind (Saltire 2015), authored jointly with Douglas Dunn and Diana Hendry. She lives in Dunsyre, a village on the edge of the Pentlands in South Lanarkshire, and in Leith, Edinburgh.
