Helene Boppert

Helene Boppert was born in 1992 in the middle of Germany in a small, sweet village that, coincidentally, is also named ‘Sweet’. On leaving school, she left her cats behind to study Fine Art and Illustration in Hamburg. Over the four years of art school she took every opportunity to learn her craft and to travel to enrich her life and the life of her illustrations. Completing her first illustration jobs while at art school, she has been working as an illustrator in editorial and book publishing since 2015, and self-published the illustrated book Need to Know about the lives of codebreakers at Bletchley Park three years later. In her spare time she is studying educational sciences and art pedagogy at university to further her understanding of human connection and education.
