What would you take with you?

Friday 3 March, 10:15 - 12:15
Public Library, Church Square - Meeting Room

A workshop on belonging with Marjorie Lotfi Gill

With The Belonging project, Margorie Lotfi Gill invites us to explore ideas of home by focusing on the issue of what we choose to take with us when we have to leave a place for any reason. For StAnza she will lead a creative writing workshop taking as its inspiration our journeys with objects we value, including those which, like language, landscape and people, don’t fit into any suitcase. The workshop will be structured to offer a series of writing prompts as well as allowing some time to read around and discuss the outcomes of the various prompts, with a view to those attending coming away with one or more draft poems.

In partnership with Fife Cultural Trust Libraries, Arts, Museums & Archives

Participants: Marjorie Lotfi Gill
