Poems from the extremes of Scotland's psyche

I’ll ha’e nae hauf-way hoose, but aye be whaur / Extremes meet… (Hugh MacDiarmid)

Running over 2016 and 2017, Scotia Extremis was an online anthology edited by Brian Johnstone and Andy Jackson. It sought to explore Scotland through specially commissioned poems which paired up the extremes of the nation’s culture from all angles -- from the Forth Bridge to Gregory's Girl, from Jimmy Shand to Irn Bru. Check out some of the poems in this installation, which celebrates the publication of Scotia Extremis in book form, with Edinburgh-based Luath Press.
