A collection of poems responding to scripture

At StAnza 2018, we teamed with the Institute for Theology, Imagination and the Arts to give six poets the opportunity to work with Michael Symmons Roberts, Sir James MacMillan and researchers from the ITIA on a new poem. Each poet was paired with a theologian while working on a poem responding to a piece of biblical scripture. We're delighted that the resulting pamphlet, The Song: Poems of Biblical Theophany, published by Tapsalteerie in collaboration with the TheoArtistry project, is being launched at this year's festival, with readings and talks from the poets and theologians involved. Poets appearing will include John Bolland, Christine De Luca, Marjorie Lotfi Gill, Maria Apichella, Ian Crockatt & Christie Williamson.
