Round Table

Friday 9 March, 11:30 - 12:15
Fraser Gallery, South Street

Intimate Reading: Sinéad Morrissey

A rare opportunity to enjoy a special reading from the 2017 Forward Prize-winning poet and Belfast’s inaugural Poet Laureate (2013-2014) Sinéad Morrissey. Sinéad has published six collections of poetry and won numerous awards for her work, which has been praised for its striking images and the distinct voices which she effortlessly slips into. Her most recent collection, On Balance, a Poetry Book Society Choice, was the winner of Forward Prize for Best Collection 2017 and she is currently Professor of Creative Writing at Newcastle University. Please be aware that our Round Table events are very limited in capacity and generally sell out quickly.
