On the Road

This year’s On the Road theme explores how poetry is influenced by and responds to travel and migration, and also how poetry itself travels between people and places.

Our events embrace all kinds of travel from local public transport to pilgrimage and exile, and feature poetry about the mundane and exotic, from unpacked suitcases to nomadic lifestyles.
