Poetry Walk with Morag Wells

Thursday 8 March, 10:00 - 11:15
Byre Theatre, Abbey Street - Theatre Garden

Encounter verse around town: led by Morag Wells

This year’s poetry walk, led by Morag Wells, offers a chance to discover, or rediscover, the town of St Andrews, home of Scotland’s first university. For Scotland’s Year of Young People, St Andrews graduate Morag Wells offers her perspective on the town, viewed in its changing shape over the centuries by generations of students. Her selection of poems reflects on how the presence of the university ensures that St Andrews is ancient and historic, yet at the same time thoroughly dynamic and modern.

(Dependent on fair weather, please check with the festival desk.)
