Poetry at Sunset
During the winter of 2004/5, which included a devastating hurricane, poet Pauline Prior-Pitt regularly walked on Sollas beach. She kept a sea diary, and out of it created the prize-winning pamphlet North Uist Sea Poems—a collection that explores sea states and shorelines. Poet and musician Catherine Eunson later set the poems to music, and today Catherine and Pauline discuss the project, as well as sharing a selection of poetry and music from their collaboration.
