Poetry Café: Andy Fierens

Sunday 11 March, 13:00 - 13:50
The Byre Theatre, Abbey Street - Studio Theatre
£6.75/£5.50

Enjoy an entertaining lunch with Andy Fierens

Season your lunch – included in the price of the ticket – with a generous helping of verses from Andy Fierens, a hyperenergetic Belgian poet and performer. He fires his sharp and witty words loud and relentlessly at audiences all over the world. The Dutch newspaper De Groene Amsterdammer hailed him as “the only poet who has stayed true to his punk roots”. When he is not on the road on his own, he can also be found performing with his band Andy & The Androids or with his choir The Horny Bazookas. His work is sometimes described as social surrealism.

Supported by Flanders Literature and Stuart's the Bakers of Buckhaven.

Poetry Café lunches include meat and macaroni pies (on a first come, first choice basis), with a beer/lager or a soft drink. Please let us know in advance of any relevant dietary requirements, quoting your ticket number, and we'll do our best to offer you a suitable alternative.
