A brief session at the Bell Pettigrew Museum to prompt your own creativity

Packed full of treasures and wonders, the Bell Pettigrew is a spectacular reminder of how important a museum can be in the study of the natural sciences.’  Sir David Attenborough

MUSA, the Museum of the University of St Andrews, which is the usual venue for StAnza's Musings@MUSA sessions, is currently closed for refurbishment. However on Thursday 7 and Friday 8 March, Musings@MUSA sessions will be offered at the town's Bell Pettigrew Museum, about which Sir David Attenborough has spoken with much enthusiasm. Let museum staff introduce you to a special artefact during drop-in sessions. We hope you will then create poetry inspired by the objects you encounter at this popular event and share it with us. Send your StAnza musings to and we'll share our favourites online! Free, drop-in, no booking required. (NB times tbc).

Presented in partnership with MUSA (the Museum of the University of St Andrews)
