Short readings from the work of imprisoned poets

Join us to celebrate freedom of expression and to pay witness to writers who’ve been imprisoned for their work. At this event, hosted by Brian Johnstone, poets appearing at StAnza 2019 will read a selection of poems by imprisoned poets. Jacqueline Saphra, Angus Peter Campbell / Aonghas Phàdraig Caimbeul, Helena Nelson, Zein Sa'dedin and Alan Buckley will take part, together with Carl MacDougall, President of Scottish PEN and Jane Archer, Chair of Scottish PEN Writers at Risk Committee.
