Poems from the GeoBus and StAnza Haiku Competition 2017 for mountain-themed poems

GeoBus is an educational outreach project supporting Earth science learning in schools in the UK. The project was developed by the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of St Andrews in 2012. The project has been visiting schools across Scotland every week, reaching all educational regions.

As part of StAnza's The Heights of Poetry theme for 2017, GeoBus ran a poetry competition in schools across Scotland and beyond for haiku inspired by mountains. This installation presents winning and commended poems submitted by Solais MacBride, Kerryn Errington, Ewan Johnstone, Ellie Watson, Lauren Fotheringham, Maia Willis-Reddick, Donald Herd, Beth Shotton, Josh Grinham and Elsa Kivinen.

Please note that the digital installations at the festival are shown in rotation on a loop which runs for approximately an hour.

In association with GeoBus and the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of St Andrews
