Join us in this Border Crossings reading to hear from two inspiring poets who combine writing with visual arts, creating another depth of poetic experience. Kathrine Sowerby studied tapestry, collaborates with artist/writer Tessa Berring, and has taken part in poetry translation projects in Pakistan and Latvia. Her most recent collection, House However (Vagabond Voices), presents a sequence of sixty-two prose poems. She will be joined by Laura Accerboni, a Swiss poet who writes in Italian and who is known for both her poetry and her photography. Both poets work share a subtle and surreal sensibility, tinged with a hint of menace.
Laura Accerboni's appearance at StAnza is supported by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia.
