Reading: Katharine Towers, Vicki Husband

Join us at this Border Crossings to hear a Scottish and an English poet whose early collections dazzle and delight. Vicki Husband’s first collection This Far Back Everything Shimmers appeared with Vagabond Voices in 2016. Vicki was one of the featured poets in the anthology of new Scottish poetry Be The First To Like This, and her work has won prizes in the Mslexia Poetry Competition and the Edwin Morgan International Poetry Prize. She’ll be reading alongside Katharine Towers, whose second collection The Remedies (Picador, 2016) draws on her abiding interest in the natural world and has been shortlisted for the T.S. Eliot Prize. Her debut collection, The Floating Man, won the Seamus Heaney Centre Prize on its publication in 2010.
