Angela McSeveney was born in 1964 and grew up in Ross-shire, Livingston and the Borders. She has had three collections of poetry published: Coming Out With It (Polygon), Imprint (Edinburgh Review) and, most recently, Slaughtering Beetroot (Mariscat Press). For the last ten years she has worked as a care assistant and lives in Edinburgh, where she is a member of, and Treasurer for, Shore Poets.
