John Akpata is a spoken word artist based in Ottawa, Canada. He has been performing for over seven years, and has emerged into the world scene. He was named as Best Poet in Ottawa in 2005 and in 2006 he represented Canada on an international slam tour. A winner of various awards and competitions, John is also a successful recording artist and radio presenter.
