(Photo: Jemimah Kuhfeld)Anna Crowe lives in St Andrews where she works as a translator. She co-founded StAnza and was Artistic Director for seven years. Publications include Skating Out of the House (1997), A Secret History of Rhubarb (Mariscat, 2004), Punk with Dulcimer (Peterloo, 2006), and collections in Catalan and Spanish – Tugs in the Fog (Bloodaxe, 2006), translations of the Catalan poet Joan Margarit, was a PBS recommendation, and she has also co-edited an anthology of Catalan poems, Light Off Water (SPL/Carcanet, 2007). In 2005 she received a Travelling Scholarship from the Society of Authors.
