Anna Crowe was one of the co-founders of StAnza and its first Artistic Director. She is a distinguished poet and translator from the Spanish languages and an engaging and delicate reader of her own work. Sharing this stage with her is Jacob Polley, whose significant talent was recognised when he was chosen as a Next Generation poet in 2004. Both poets have been invited to read by Brian Johnstone who felt he could not step down as Festival Director before including them in the programme.
