Participants: Kate Clanchy
Kate Clanchy was born in Glasgow, studied in Edinburgh and Oxford and (after several years in London) now lives and works in Oxford. Her publications include Slattern (1995), winner of the Forward Poetry Prize for Best First Collection and a Somerset Maugham Award, Samarkand (1999), shortlisted for the Forward Poetry Prize and winner of a Scottish Arts Council Book Award, Newborn (2004) and What Is She Doing Here?: A Refugee's Story (2008). She also writes for The Guardian and writes and broadcasts on BBC Radios 3 and 4, and The World Service.
