(Photo: Thomas A Clark)Laurie Clark, who was born in New York in 1949, now lives in the small fishing village of Pittenweem. Her recent drawings are concerned with the infinite differences and similarities of plant forms. With the poet Thomas A. Clark she runs Cairn, an occasional space for contemporary art and ideas. Since 1973 their work has appeared together in numerous publications from their own Moschatel Press. Her illustrations have also been published by Wild Hawthorn Press, Coracle and October Foundation.
