Participants: David Mach

David Mach was born in Methil in Fife, and studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, and the Royal College of Art, London. He was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1988 and, in the past two decades, has had solo exhibitions in Barcelona, Cincinatti, Glasgow, Hakone, Hamilton (Ontario), Hong Kong, Kiev, London, Los Angeles, Lyon, Melbourne, New York, Paris, Reunion Island, Warsaw and various other places. He was elected as an honorary member of the Royal Scottish Academy in 2004, and is a trustee of the National Portrait Gallery, London.
