Participants: Heeligoleerie
Heeliegoleerie is Eilidh Steel (Fiddle), Mark Neal (Guitar/Cittern/Vocals) and Ali MacLeod (Djembe). They bring a fresh approach to Scottish music, with a mixture of tunes and songs from a range of traditions, as well as a plentiful supply of their own compositions. They have been variously described as an "exuberant trio", "an exciting new band" and "oooh shiny", and were the winners of the 2006 Danny Kyle Open Stage at the Celtic Connections Festival in Glasgow.
