One of the founders of the original St Andrews Poetry Festival, the Vermont-based poet, novelist and biographer whose work has long engaged with environmental, philosophical and spiritual themes, returns to St Andrews to read with one of New Zealand’s best-loved poets, the fifth Te Mata Estate New Zealand Poet Laureate, whose autobiographical and inventive poetry is rich in wordplay and incident, and always a delight to hear.
